Transform Communities with Social Design Hackathons
Service Description
Each student is given the chances to participate in an an interactive five day training. The course occurs on saturdays for 4 hours. Course introduces fundamentals of Community-Driven Social Innovation practice. Students learn Community Leaders, Community Needs Research, managing social design hackathon, and implementation management. Then spend 3 months to plan and conduct a social design hackathon. Those that successfully finish the program receive a FREE year of SIAA's Executive membership, opportunities to work funded SIAA projects, Team coaching for 3-month project, and support with grant submission for your own community projects.
